Chris proudly serves as an Industry Chair on the Advisory Committee for Spokane ProStart, dedicating time to enhance schools' ability to offer relevant skills training aligned with industry needs. Together, Kim and Chris actively volunteer as subject matter expert (SME) trainers for local high schools, focusing on providing valuable insights into career opportunities within the hospitality sector. Their dedication extends to serving as competition coaches for an underserved local high school's ProStart Team, fostering growth and excellence.

Additionally, Chris is an integral part of the Washington Hospitality Association’s Education Foundation State Advisory Board, contributing expertise to guide outreach initiatives, identify industry needs, and shape curriculum development.
